Great location, right opposite the theatre. I hadn't realised the hotel used to be very glitzy back in the day - they have a wall of celebrities, very impressive. And I can see why - a really good place to stay. Staff at reception/front of hourse were really nice, check in was easy. Room was great, I had a small Juliet balcony too. Very comfortable bed and pillows, strong WiFi throughout, shower was perfect, good selection of free toiletries and miscellaneous items, bathrobe and slippers available, decent air conditioning and plenty of plug/USB sockets. Also, very nice to have a fridge, water replenished daily, and also somewhere decent to sit in the room so you aren't always perched on the bed! The breakfast was varied. The pool was nice, as where the gardens. Terrace restaurant had a good view. Sauna was great! And the massage service was good (really effective, not just one of those soft, relaxing ones..!). Solid location, lots of green parks nearby, bazaars, Amir Timur square, the list goes on! There's a salon on site and also a money exchange. A side note, easy to get the airport via an app for about $2 for the 10-15 minute drive, bonus!

This is an old style grand hotel, a rare gem! The rooms are super clean and comfortable with everything you need, the pool a much needed respite against the summer heat and breakfast beyond exceptional (I especially loved the fresh carrot juice!). But it's the staff that make this hotel so enjoyable - they were extremely kind, very helpful and always happy to answer questions. There are 2 ATMs and a money exchange on the ground floor but sadly the ATM didnt work for my card so staff directed me to another near the hotel. I was able to leave a bag in the luggage room while travelling to other parts of the country. The hotel is opposite a lovely park and close to the Metro. I'll be back!

Everything was perfect. Room was very good, bed and armchair were very comfortable. Television also had good amount of tv channels. Unlike most of hotels, I could watch channels in good image quality. Reception desk was absolutely perfect, they very helpful when i asked subjects such as registration or travel options to go back to airport. Restaurant was also perfect. Open buffet had wide variety of choice. When I booked the hotel, I also selected the option for dinner in addition to breakfast. Dinner had fixed menu, but the menu was very good and healthy enough. Restaurant staffs were also perfect in terms of service, thanks to the supervisor and his team! I give the highest grade.

Unbeatable Korean hospitality can be felt throughout my stay. It has an Grand Dame feel to this refurbished hotel, with attention and efforts in many details. The breakfast is especially outstanding from an Asian perspective. I get a decent takeaway box at 4 and 5am on two mornings as I have to get ready for early day trips. There is a "Hall of Fame" showing the celebrities who have stayed in the hotel and you know it is really among the best in the city. The pool is a lovely retreat considering Tashkent's scortching summer days.

Amazing hotel in the middle of old Tashkent. Right in front is the big theatre. Across the street: the park, the oldest central retail store (TSUM), stores, museum of Uzbekistan etc. The staff is outstanding, very polite and helpful. They are always there to help. There's a money exchange in the building, bar. Italian restaurant (where the very good breakfast is served), restaurant on the roof. The room was big, clean and with a small balcony. They have also a pull and gym 💚
